Electronic Coggins and Health Certificates

We now offer electronic Coggins and Health Certificates for traveling. This updated format allows us to email your copies and results directly to you in a legible format with color photos of your horse for permanent record. Once the record is in place, updates simply require a blood test on a yearly basis. A negative Coggins test (a.k.a. EIA) is required for interstate travel along with a health certificate. Most Coggins tests are valid for 6-12 months depending on the state of… destination. The Health Certificate is valid for 30 days. Some shows and boarding facilities also require a negative Coggins. STAT Coggins can be performed most days of the week perform diagnostic local anesthetic blocks and administer the appropriate treatment, as well as support equipment such as a Digital Radiograph and Digital Ultrasound machines. We have ample spacious area and either hard or soft ground for evaluating them in motion. Our treatment area is an enclosed barn perfectly suited for a clean area to take radiographs, perform ultrasounds, or administer treatments. We also offer novel treatment modalities such as extracorporeal shock-wave therapy (lythotripsy), which has provided encouraging therapeutic effects on our patients, particularly those with Suspensory Ligament problems. Other treatments we offer include Stem Cell Therapy and Platelet Rich Plasma.
