Dr. Caitlin Manring grew up in San Diego, CA riding on the local Hunter/Jumper circuit. Wanting to pursue a career in the horse industry, Caitlin obtained her undergraduate degree in animal science with a minor in equine science at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Dr. Manring graduated from The Ohio State Veterinary School in 2014 and then went abroad where she completed a veterinary internship at Randwick Equine Centre in Sydney, Australia. Learning from specialists at a referral level racehorse practice and surgical center, she quickly developed an interest in lameness and sports medicine. When Caitlin returned to the states she went on to complete a second internship at California Equine Orthopedics, where she focused on advanced imaging such as MRI, nuclear scintigraphy, and ultrasound. Dr. Manring worked in a sports medicine practice in Ocala, FL from 2016-2019 on upper level Hunter/Jumpers and 3-day Eventers. Dr. Manring attended the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine and enjoys utilizing acupuncture in her everyday practice. She is very excited to have joined the ECLAP team and looks forward to offering her expertise in her hometown. In her spare time, Caitlin enjoys being outdoors, boating and off-road racing with her family.
